Woods 4: The Green Album

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Moving significantly away from their black metal origins, the Canadian outfit fully embraces a gloomy, highly melodic fusion of doom and gothic metal on their fourth record. David Gold's booming, clean baritone vocals deliver deeply pessimistic lyrics centered on heartbreak, depression, and mortality. The melancholic, hook-driven songwriting earned the band comparisons to Type O Negative.
