Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating entirely as a solo act, Malefic constructs suffocatingly bleak and lo-fi black metal soundscapes entirely focused on themes of severe depression and suicide. The guitars are buried in a murky wash of dissonant fuzz, while mournful, spectral keyboards dominate the mix. It is a foundational text in the American depressive suicidal black metal subgenre.
