Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded just months before his tragic passing at age 32, 'Passion' stands as the ultimate testament to Zbigniew Seifert's revolutionary approach to the jazz violin. The project integrates swirling, Coltrane-inspired modal improvisations with the sophisticated backing of American fusion heavyweights like Jack DeJohnette and John Scofield. It is widely considered a deeply emotional, virtuosic masterpiece of modern jazz strings.
