Biography
1914 is a Ukrainian blackened death-doom band from Lviv, formed in 2014 and named for the outbreak of the First World War. Performing under Austro-Hungarian soldier personas, the five members turn the war's battles and letters into crushing, sample-laced metal. Albums such as 'The Blind Leading the Blind', 'Where Fear and Weapons Meet' and 'Viribus Unitis' have made them one of Ukraine's most acclaimed metal exports.
