Biography
Akira Rabelais is a Los Angeles based American composer and software author from South Texas, known for electroacoustic and ambient works built with his own sound processing software, Arge茂phontes Lyre. His albums transform single sources: piano on 'Eisoptrophobia', guitar on '...benediction, draw', and archival Icelandic folk singing on 'Spellewauerynsherde', released on #Samadhi Sound# in 2004. He describes himself as a composer writing software, not an engineer making music, and his instruments are the computer and treated piano.
