Biography
Alela Diane is an American singer-songwriter from Nevada City, California, known for her distinctive voice and contributions to the indie folk and Americana scenes. Growing up with musician parents, she taught herself guitar and began writing songs that blend trance-like arpeggios with meditative lyrics about family and nature. Her career gained traction with the acclaimed album 'The Pirate's Gospel', initially self-released in 2004 and later reissued by #Holocene Music# and #Names Records#. She was also the vocalist for the covers project *Headless Heroes*, which released the album 'The Silence of Love' in 2008.
