Biography
Annette Peacock, born in Brooklyn in 1941, is an American composer, singer and electronic-music pioneer who was among the first to sing through a Moog synthesiser. She wrote much of *Paul Bley*'s 1960s repertoire, and her own albums 'I'm the One' (1972), 'X-Dreams' (1978) and 'The Perfect Release' (1979) are cult landmarks blending blues, jazz and electronics. Her songs have been widely covered despite her low public profile.
