Biography
Ash, formed in Downpatrick in 1992 by Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton and Rick McMurray, are a Northern Irish alternative rock band mixing punk, power pop and indie rock. Charlotte Hatherley was a member from 1997 to 2006. Their albums include '1977', 'Free All Angels', 'Meltdown', 'Kablammo!' and 'Race the Night', alongside the ambitious 26-single 'A-Z Series' of 2009.
