Biography
Big Pun (1971 to 2000), born Christopher Lee Rios in the Bronx, was an American rapper of Puerto Rican descent and a member of *Fat Joe's* Terror Squad. His debut album 'Capital Punishment' (1998), released on #Loud Records#, made him the first Latino solo rapper to earn a platinum album, on the strength of 'Still Not a Player' and his rapid, intricately rhymed delivery. He died in February 2000, shortly before his second album 'Yeeeah Baby' appeared.
