Biography
Black Dice are an American experimental group formed in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1997 and based in Brooklyn, New York. Founded by brothers Bjorn and Eric Copeland with Hisham Bharoocha and Sebastian Blanck, the band mutated from chaotic hardcore noise into hypnotic electronic psychedelia after Aaron Warren replaced Blanck and Bharoocha departed, leaving the current trio. Albums such as 'Beaches & Canyons', 'Broken Ear Record', 'Repo' and 'Mod Prog Sic', released on labels including #DFA# and #Paw Tracks#, document their restless reinvention.
