Biography
Seattle rock band formed in 1992 by Shawn Smith, Stone Gossard, Regan Hagar and Jeremy Toback. Brad grew out of informal jamming between *Pearl Jam*, *Satchel* and *Pigeonhed* circles, but Smith's distinctive vocals and the group's eclectic, jam-born songwriting gave it an identity of its own across six studio albums, from the raw debut 'Shame' to the posthumous final album 'In the Moment That You're Born', completed after Smith's death in 2019.
