Biography
D.O.A. are a Canadian hardcore punk band from Vancouver, British Columbia, formed in 1978 and led throughout by singer-guitarist Joe Keithley. Pioneers of hardcore through 'Something Better Change' and 'Hardcore '81', they combined breakneck punk with left-wing politics and relentless touring. Despite constant line-up changes and brief hiatuses, Keithley has kept the band active into the present, latterly as a trio with bassist Mike Hodsall and drummer Paddy Duddy.
