Biography
D.R.I. (*Dirty Rotten Imbeciles*) are a Houston crossover thrash band formed in 1982 by Kurt Brecht and Spike Cassidy, who remain in the lineup. Pioneers of the style named after their 1987 album 'Crossover', they fused hardcore punk speed with thrash metal across seven studio albums, from 'Dirty Rotten LP' (1983) to 'Full Speed Ahead' (1995), and have toured ever since without adding another.
