Dan Deacon

Biography

Baltimore-based electronic musician and composer whose records, from 'Spiderman of the Rings' (2007) and 'Bromst' (2009) to 'Mystic Familiar' (2020), cram orchestral colour into euphoric pop forms. Deacon's live shows are famous for placing him in the middle of the crowd and conducting mass participatory rituals. Alongside his albums for #Domino Records# he composes concert works for ensembles such as *So Percussion* and film scores including 'Rat Film' (2016).
