Biography
Devin Townsend Project was the band vehicle for Canadian musician Devin Townsend from 2009 to 2018. Launched as a four-album series, 'Ki', 'Addicted', 'Deconstruction' and 'Ghost', each with shifting personnel, it settled into a fixed line-up of Townsend with Ryan Van Poederooyen, Dave Young, Brian Waddell and Mike St-Jean for 'Epicloud' (2012), 'Z2' (2014) and 'Transcendence' (2016). The project channelled Townsend's solo songwriting through a full progressive metal band before he resumed recording under his own name.
