Biography
Diabolical Masquerade was the solo project of Anders Nystr枚m, known as Blakkheim, guitarist of *Katatonia* and *Bloodbath*. Working alone in Stockholm from 1993, with growing help from *Dan Swan枚*, he used the project for the extreme, atmospheric black metal that Katatonia had moved away from. Four albums followed: 'Ravendusk in My Heart', 'The Phantom Lodge', 'Nightwork' and the horror-soundtrack experiment 'Death's Design'. Nystr枚m ended the project in September 2004.
