Dry Cleaning

Dry Cleaning

Dry Cleaning is an English post-punk band formed in South London, distinguished by Florence Shaw’s deadpan, spoken-word vocal delivery and surrealist lyricism. Backed by the jagged, melodic instrumentation of guitarist Tom Dowse, bassist Lewis Maynard, and drummer Nick Buxton, the group emerged as a refreshing voice in the UK alternative scene. Following the success of their early EPs, "Sweet Princess" and "Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks", they signed to #4AD# and released their critically acclaimed debut album "New Long Leg" in 2021. Produced by *John Parish*, their music balances intellectual detachment with driving, rhythmic intensity. Their follow-up, "Stumpwork", further expanded their sonic palette, cementing their status as leaders of the modern post-punk revival.
