Biography
New York cinematic soul group led by Leon Michels, saxophonist, keyboardist and co-founder of #Truth and Soul# and #Big Crown Records#. El Michels Affair debuted with 'Sounding Out the City' (2005), recorded with Nick Movshon, Homer Steinweiss, Thomas Brenneck and Michael Leonhart, then reworked *Wu-Tang Clan* material on 'Enter the 37th Chamber' (2009) and 'Return to the 37th Chamber' (2017). Recent albums include 'Yeti Season' (2021), 'Glorious Game' (2023) with *Black Thought*, and '24 Hr Sports' (2025).
