Biography
Alec Empire is the Berlin musician behind *Atari Teenage Riot* and the #Digital Hardcore Recordings# label. Starting with early nineties techno and breakbeat releases, he built digital hardcore from punk energy, hip hop attitude and overloaded drum machines. His solo catalogue ranges from the ambient 'Low on Ice (The Iceland Sessions)' to the breakcore landmark 'The Destroyer' and the rock leaning 'Intelligence and Sacrifice', and he remains active as a performer, remixer and DJ.
