Biography
Elder is an American rock band that has evolved from its stoner/doom metal origins into a genre-defying force in the progressive and psychedelic rock scenes. Formed in Massachusetts and now primarily based in Berlin, the band is known for its long, intricate compositions that blend heavy riffs with soaring melodies and atmospheric soundscapes. Starting with their self-titled debut, they progressively incorporated more complex arrangements, with albums like 'Lore' and 'Reflections of a Floating World' marking a significant shift towards a more expansive, layered sound. Signed to labels like #Stickman Records# and #Blues Funeral Recordings#, Elder continues to push musical boundaries.
