Geese

Formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2016, Geese originated as a high school project focused on home recording. [1, 2] The band merges agitated post-punk with art-rock, funk, and experimental textures, defined by angular guitar interplay, kinetic rhythms, and the expressive, often frantic, vocals of Cameron Winter. [1, 7, 8] Their initial work, captured in a basement studio, evolved into a more ambitious and unpredictable sound upon signing to a label, expanding from taut indie rock to a sprawling and genre-fluid style. [2, 9] This evolution established the group as a restless and adventurous force in contemporary rock, noted for continually redefining their musical approach with each release. [2]
