Biography
Gillian Carter is an Orlando, Florida screamo band formed in 2005 around guitarist and vocalist Logan Rivera. Its six studio albums move from the raw emo violence of 'The Flood That Came After the Storm' (2007) to the black metal and sludge inflected '...This Earth Shaped Tomb' (2018) and the bleak, technical 'Salvation Through Misery' (2022) on #Skeletal Lightning#. Long a fixture of the Florida underground, the band is known for cathartic live shows and for turning personal isolation and grief into controlled chaos, with Rivera the one constant member across every line-up.
