Global Communication

Biography

Global Communication is the iconic British ambient techno duo of Tom Middleton and Mark Pritchard. Formed in 1992, they became one of the most revered names in 1990s electronic music, primarily through their landmark 1994 album, '76:14'. This work is celebrated for its beatless, ethereal soundscapes and is considered a high point of the ambient house movement, often ranked alongside classics by artists like *Aphex Twin* and *The Future Sound of London*. The duo also ran their own labels, #Evolution Records# and #Universal Language Productions#, and released music on #Dedicated Records#. Though their output as Global Communication was sparse, their influence has been profound and long-lasting.
