Immortal

Immortal is a legendary Norwegian black metal band formed in 1990/1991 in Bergen by Demonaz and Abbath, renowned for defining the genre with a cold, grim aesthetic and the fictional fantasy realm of "Blashyrkh". Their music, known for rapid-fire tremolo picking and harsh vocals, evolved from raw early 90s black metal to more structured, thrash-influenced, and epic compositions on albums like At the Heart of Winter (1999) and Sons of Northern Darkness (2002).
