Biography
Swedish singer-songwriter J盲je Johansson, known as Jay-Jay Johanson, built his reputation on hushed, melancholic vocals over trip hop and downbeat arrangements with a strong film noir flavour. His debut 'Whiskey' appeared in 1996, and 'Poison' brought him French chart success in 2000 with help from *Robin Guthrie*. Later work ranged from the electronic 'Antenna' to the song 'Marble House', written with *The Knife*, and a steady run of albums through 'Fetish' and 'Backstage'.
