Biography
French electronic pioneer Jean-Jacques Perrey championed the Ondioline and the Moog synthesizer long before electronic pop entered the mainstream. After moving to New York in 1960, he made tape loop experiments and, with *Gershon Kingsley*, the landmark Perrey and Kingsley albums for #Vanguard Records#. Solo records such as 'Moog Indigo' mixed whimsy, space age imagery and painstaking tape editing, and his music found a second life through sampling and remixes by later electronic artists.
