Biography
Jets to Brazil were a Brooklyn indie rock band active from 1997 to 2003, formed by *Jawbreaker* singer Blake Schwarzenbach with bassist Jeremy Chatelain and drummer Chris Daly. Signed to #Jade Tree#, they released 'Orange Rhyming Dictionary' (1998), then added guitarist Brian Maryansky for 'Four Cornered Night' (2000) and 'Perfecting Loneliness' (2002). Their literate, melancholic songs bridged emo, punk and classic pop songwriting, and the band split in 2003 after its third album.
