Biography
J贸nsi, born J贸n 脼贸r Birgisson in Reykjav铆k, is the falsetto singer and bowed-guitar player of *Sigur R贸s*. His solo albums 'Go' (2010) and 'Shiver' (2020) and the ambient 'Riceboy Sleeps' (2009) with *Alex Somers* extend his unmistakable sound beyond the band. He has toured his solo work with large-scale stage productions, and his voice, singing in Icelandic and his invented Vonlenska language, is one of the most recognisable in modern music.
