Biography
American arena rock band formed in San Francisco in 1973 by ex-*Santana* musicians Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie. Journey found their sound when Steve Perry became singer in 1977, scoring a long run of hits with 'Infinity', 'Escape' (1981), 'Frontiers' and 'Raised on Radio'. 'Don't Stop Believin'' grew into one of the best-selling digital songs of the twentieth century. After Perry-era reunions, Steve Augeri and Arnel Pineda kept the band recording and touring; Journey joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
