Biography
Kavinsky was the stage persona of Vincent Belorgey, a French musician and producer integral to the synthwave movement. His sound, heavily inspired by 1980s film soundtracks and 16-bit video games, is defined by a strong narrative concept: a man who dies in a car crash in 1986 and returns 20 years later as a music-making zombie. He gained global recognition when his song "Nightcall," co-produced by *Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo* of *Daft Punk*, was featured in the 2011 film *Drive*. His debut album, 'OutRun', released in 2013 on #Record Makers#, was a critical success, followed by 'Reborn' in 2022.
