Biography
The Lemonheads is an alternative rock band formed in Boston in 1986 by Evan Dando, Ben Deily and Jesse Peretz, with Dando its only constant member. Starting as a punk-influenced college-rock act, the band broke through in 1992 with the melodic 'It's a Shame About Ray' and a hit version of 'Mrs. Robinson'. After a hiatus from 1997, Dando revived the name in 2005 for further albums, most recently 'Love Chant' in 2025.
