Lick

Serving as the final album with founding co-songwriter Ben Deily, 'Lick' is a charmingly disjointed collection of new tracks and older unreleased B-sides. The record beautifully captures the band's transition from scrappy Boston hardcore into incredibly melodic, power-pop indebted alternative rock. It is perhaps best remembered for Evan Dando's iconic, fuzz-drenched cover of Suzanne Vega's hit 'Luka', which became their first significant college radio success.
