Biography
LFO was the Leeds electronic act of Mark Bell and Gez Varley, pioneers of bleep techno on the #Warp# label. The 1990 single 'LFO' and the album 'Frequencies' set the template for bass heavy British techno, all sub bass, bleeps and stripped down rhythm. After Varley left in 1996, Bell carried the name alone through 'Advance' and 'Sheath' until his death in 2014.
