Life is the solo project of Mexican-born musician Damián Antón Ojeda, now based in Baltimore, Maryland. Ojeda's music defies easy categorization, blending the raw emotional intensity of screamo and emo with the crushing heaviness of post-metal and atmospheric black metal, often incorporating elements of blackgaze. The project is known for its cathartic soundscapes, shifting between delicate, introspective passages and ferocious, blast-beat-driven sections.
