Biography
Lugubrum are a Flemish black metal band from Lovendegem and Ghent, Belgium, formed in 1992 by Barditus and Midgaars. Calling their style Boersk Blekk Metle, farmer black metal, they built a cult catalogue from 'Winterstones' (1995) and 'De Totem' (1999) through 'De Vette Cuecken' (2004), 'Heilige Dwazen' (2005) and 'Albino de Congo' (2008), blending raw black metal with saxophone, banjo, improvisation and absurdist humour, largely on their own #Old Grey Hair Records#.
