Biography
Lunar Aurora were a German atmospheric black metal band from Rosenheim, Bavaria, formed in 1994 by Whyrhd and Aran and completed by keyboardist Sindar. Across albums including 'Weltengänger', 'Ars Moriendi', 'Elixir of Sorrow' and 'Andacht', they shifted from symphonic black metal to a colder, depressive style. After splitting in 2007 they reunited for the Bavarian-dialect farewell album 'Hoagascht' in 2012, then disbanded permanently.
