Biography
Luther Allison was a Chicago blues guitarist and singer celebrated for searing solos, soul-deep vocals and live sets that regularly stretched past three hours. A prot茅g茅 of *Freddie King* and *Magic Sam*, he recorded for #Delmark Records# and #Motown Records# before years based in France made him a European star. His 1990s comeback on #Alligator Records#, with 'Soul Fixin' Man' and 'Blue Streak', finally brought him American acclaim shortly before his death in 1997.
