Biography
Toronto-formed drone doom duo Nadja pairs Aidan Baker's guitar soundscapes with Leah Buckareff's bass and vocals. Active since 2003 and now based in Berlin, they have released dozens of albums of slow, atmospheric heaviness, moving between metal, ambient and shoegaze textures and collaborating widely across the experimental underground. Their live shows are famously intense, with two performers generating enormous volume and low-end weight.
