Biography
Ougenweide was a Hamburg band formed in 1970 and the founding act of medieval folk rock, setting centuries-old German poetry to folk-rock arrangements. Frank Wulff, Stefan Wulff, Minne Graw, Olaf Casalich and Wolfgang von Henko led the group until 1985; reunions produced 'Sol' and 'Herzsprung'. Their name comes from a Neidhart von Reuental song. They were the genre's pioneers in Germany.
