Biography
Peter Green was a British guitarist and singer who founded Fleetwood Mac in 1967 after a celebrated stint with *John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers*. His songs 'Albatross', 'Black Magic Woman' and 'Oh Well' and his aching, sustain-rich playing defined the band's blues era. After leaving in 1970 he recorded sporadically, returning in the 1990s with the Splinter Group. He died at home in Essex in July 2020.
