Biography
Japanese electronic duo of Tomonori Hayashibe and Takeshi Wakiya, formed in Tokyo in 1997 and central to picopop and neo-Shibuya-kei. Plus-Tech Squeeze Box splice synthesised sounds and samples of jazz and big band records into hyperactive pop. Their albums 'Fakevox' and 'Cartooom!' won international cult attention, cartoon theme work and a place in *The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie* soundtrack. Their recorded output has slowed since then.
