Biography
Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, known as RZA, is the de facto leader and primary producer of the hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. His production style, characterized by cinematic loops, sparse beats, and samples from soul music and martial arts films, was pivotal in reshaping the sound of 1990s hip-hop. Beyond the Clan, he was a founding member of the horrorcore supergroup Gravediggaz and has released several solo albums under his Bobby Digital alias, such as 'RZA as Bobby Digital in Stereo'. RZA's influence extends into filmmaking, where he has composed acclaimed scores for directors like *Jim Jarmusch* and *Quentin Tarantino* and has also directed his own films.
