Biography
Shame are a post-punk band formed in South London in 2014. Known for their confrontational live shows and a sound that channels the abrasive energy of predecessors like *The Fall*, the five-piece gained notoriety in the burgeoning London scene. They signed with #Dead Oceans# for their critically acclaimed debut album, 'Songs of Praise', released in 2018. This was followed by 'Drunk Tank Pink' in 2021 and 'Food for Worms' in 2023, albums that saw the band explore more intricate, anxious, and art-punk textures while solidifying their status as a leading voice in the UK's guitar music revival.
