Biography
Shlohmo is Los Angeles producer Henry Laufer, born in 1990, a co-founder of the *WEDIDIT* collective whose debut album 'Bad Vibes' (2011) defined a woozy, melancholic strain of electronic music. His productions and remixes bridged the beat scene and alternative R&B, and later albums 'Dark Red' and 'The End' pushed into darker, guitar-informed territory. He is widely credited with shaping the sound of modern alternative electronic production.
