Biography
Skrillex is the professional name of Sonny John Moore, an American DJ, producer, and singer who rose from the post-hardcore scene to become a defining force in electronic music. After fronting the band From First to Last, he re-emerged as Skrillex, pioneering a brash, aggressive style of dubstep that dominated the 2010s. His EPs 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites' and 'Bangarang' earned him multiple Grammy Awards and mainstream fame. He founded the influential label #OWSLA# and formed collaborative groups like *Jack 脺* with *Diplo* and *Dog Blood* with *Boys Noize*. His debut studio album, 'Recess', was followed by the 2023 dual releases 'Quest for Fire' and 'Don't Get Too Close'.
