Biography
Slauson Malone is the solo project of Los Angeles born musician and visual artist Jasper Marsalis, formerly of the Brooklyn collective Standing on the Corner. His collage like debut 'A Quiet Farwell, 2016–2018' (2019) mixed hip hop, jazz and avant garde performance, and after signing to #Warp# he released the warmer, guitar led 'Excelsior' (2023) as Slauson Malone 1, working closely with cellist Nicky Wetherell.
