Slomatics

Hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Slomatics are a doom and sludge metal trio known for their distinctively bass-free lineup, instead utilizing two heavily distorted, down-tuned guitars to create a colossal wall of sound. Formed in 2004, the band—comprising guitarists Chris Couzens and David Majury, with Marty Harvey on drums and vocals—crafts music with a strong science-fiction theme, blending crushing, primal riffs with a unique sense of atmospheric space. Over their career, they have released numerous albums, including 'A Hocht' and 'Canyons', and a host of splits with bands like *Conan* and *Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard*, cementing their status in the heavy underground through labels such as #Black Bow Records# and #Majestic Mountain Records#.
