Biography
slowthai, born Tyron Kaymone Frampton in Northampton in 1994, is an English rapper whose raw, punk-infused delivery targets British politics and small-town life. His debut 'Nothing Great About Britain' (2019) was Mercury-shortlisted, 'Tyron' (2021) reached number one in the UK, and 'Ugly' (2023) fused his rapping with live guitar music. His performances, half rap show and half punk riot, are central to his reputation.
