Biography
The Dickies are an American punk band from the San Fernando Valley, formed in 1977 by Leonard Graves Phillips and Stan Lee. The first California punk act on a major label, they mixed breakneck covers with comic originals on 'The Incredible Shrinking Dickies' (1979) and remain a fixture of punk bills. Their manic energy and cartoon humour made them a bridge between first-wave punk and later pop-punk generations.
