Biography
Tor Lundvall (born 1968 in Wyckoff, New Jersey) is an American painter and ambient musician based in East Hampton, New York. His luminous, menacing landscape paintings and his ghost ambient recordings form a single world of quiet, seasonal melancholy. After early cover art for *Sol Invictus* and *Miles Davis*, he built a long solo catalogue from 'Ice' and 'The Mist' to 'Empty City' and 'A Dark Place' on #Dais Records#, while avoiding live performance entirely.
